"And yes, a real contralto!
None of this 'mezzo-soprano' nonsense about Hilary, but a deep, rich tone as effective in a soul-searching rendition of Sondheim's 'Send in the Clowns' as in the operatic highlights of the first half." |
On Saturday 22nd June at 7.30, Hilary will sing the part of The Sorceress in Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas" which will be part of the programme in the Barnes Choir's 60th Anniversary Concert at All Saints Church, East Sheen, London SW14 8AX.
